Dear Foregen Supporters,

We’re happy to report that the current progress of the Animal Trial’s Sheep Phase is going well. The initial part of the latest experiment has progressed very nicely and appears to show successful vascularization, which is where the team expected it to be. Vascularization is a critical component of regeneration, and this experiment is developing our technique to further promote vascularization. The techniques being developed now are expected to be incorporated into the human procedure. We will have more to share when this experiment concludes and a histological analysis can be performed. We will keep you informed on the progress as more updates become available.

Recently we also published two videos, part 1 and part 2, of Dr. Palumbo providing a tour of the facility where animal trials are taking place. Dr. Palumbo discussed the information in her native Italian, which we felt provided an authentic flare, and of course with English subtitles for our audience. We thought it would be interesting for people to have an inside view of where the scientists work.

Additionally, as Foregen’s human clinical trial gets ever closer, we are currently in the process of evaluating software solutions to aid in the selection of human trial participants, particularly to securely store patient data, documents, or other information we’ll need to organize the cohort for the human trial. The process for selecting trial participants has not begun yet, and we will make a clear announcement when this process begins.

This past July $16,695 was raised in donations from all of you in the community! July saw 22 new recurring donors for close to $400 in recurring donations. Thanks to all of you and your support that keeps Foregen’s research moving!

Best,
