We're excited to share this month's updates with you:
Dr. Vega’s Histology Study
The results of Dr. José Vega’s histology study have been hosted on a pre-print server. Interested readers can view the early version of the article here. This study traces the density of specialized nerve structures in the human male prepuce across various age ranges, informing our efforts to achieve reinnervation during human clinical trials. We are excited for the results of this study to be shared with the public and international scientific community.
Progress at Dr. Žiaran’s Lab & Upcoming Lab Tour Series
Members of the Foregen team visited Dr. Stanislav Žiaran and his team in Slovakia on May 21st to review the current results of our preclinical research collaboration, plan the next steps, and record a video tour of the lab facilities to share with our donors. These videos will be edited and released on YouTube as part of an ongoing series over the coming months. Additionally, Foregen CSO William Musa will be working closely with PhD candidate Ján Kováč on designing the bioreactor and other key aspects of this research project.

The research team is making timely progress on the first three milestones and have already begun preparations for the fourth.
Website Redesign
A new design concept for the website has been completed and will be implemented soon. This new design focuses on professionalism, simplicity, original media, and a new research roadmap. The design was created for free and given to us by a generous Foregen supporter and professional UI designer. We look forward to rolling out the new design soon. Thank you to all of the supporters who took our consumer research survey and advised us on the new design.
Fundraising
Thanks to your remarkable support, Foregen raised $17,738 in May! This funding directly advances our mission and accelerates our progress. Thank you for your continued support of our work.
