Thank goodness you have not given up.  I can’t believe how almost no one seems serious about doing something about circumcision.  I don’t know how you can stand all these “men” whining all the time and then not being willing to do anything about it.  The only thing I can figure is that they have a victim mentality because of what was done to them.  You must have amazing patience to be willing to put up with it.  Maybe once men can take back control of their own bodies they may have the confidence to stand up for all men instead of just feeling sorry for themselves.

This world is messe up Enzo, how can so many people be brainwashed to the idea of circumcision.
It takes away nearly half the nerves in your ding-a-ling, and then the rest fade away over a few years due to friction, abrasion, and dryness. We have to come up with a short and simple message that quickly coveneens to men the bad effects of circumcision, something thats short sweet and to the point. Something like circumcision takes away half the feeling in your ding-a-ling. And the rest fade away over your lifetime forcing you take take drugs like Viagra. A uncircumcised man has none of these problems.

    Good luck Enzo

You know, it pains me how much I agree with you. I check this website frequently to see how the funds are progressing, and I am usually left disappointed. I wish I could do something to help, but I am only 16. However I hopefully wait and hold back the pain and scarring that I see every day. I can’t get it out of my mind, and I am quite positive nobody is aware of how horrible this makes me feel. And I know I am not alone. If you were circumcised as a newborn, chances are it wasn’t done well… It’s truly a shame they continue it. This has caused me serious emotional pain to the point that I now have to be medicated for anxiety, and it has come to the point that I’m afraid for my future and how I will handle this. I’m mostly worried because I believe I will continue growing and I already do not have enough skin coverage to make sex pleasurable… Would you expect people with a problem as embarrassing and personal as mine to come out to the public with it? That makes me question how many men are actually hiding their feelings about this. I know, for a FACT, that I would be a completely different person than I am right now.

I agree with you 100%, Stephon. I’m going to see a urologist on the 22nd next month because I don’t have enough skin for when I am erect. Even waking up in the morning causes minor red marks and to the extreme is bleeding during sex where the glans meet the shaft and sometimes even further down the shaft I get tears and small red lines that burn from the lack of slack skin. I am going to mention Foregen and see what he/ she can do for me in the time being. I looked into retoration and it seems like a good idea but I am going to wait a little while.

I’ve had the same experience Stephon.

I agree with what you said. When someone argues “Men would be screaming for it to end if there was a real problem with circumcision!” they don’t realize that the average person doesn’t tell anyone about anything that will assign them a label:

An abused woman hides her bruises, a molested child hides in the corner, a raped woman goes to work the next day. Very few announce it to the world. No man wants to tell everyone that his penis is damaged. It’s basic psychology.

I was rather tightly circumcised on my 8th day in my parents home because my parents are Jewish. I was born in May, 1983. When erect, my penis is bowed downward and the skin is stretched as much as possible. There is a triangle-shaped purplish blotch on the underside behind the circumcision scars, blotches of discoloration on the shaft, and I only have a little sensation, on the ridge of frenulum on the underside just behing the glans. And in my family I am not allowed to say anything against circumcision – my mentioning this abuse makes my family think I am a Jew hating nazi. They get quite uncomfortable and then angry when I say anything against this abuse. Once, my aunt, who does orthodox Judaism, said, in anger, “why don’t you just get surgery to fix yourself? My aunt and mother planned my bris (ritual circumcision). My dad held me down while the moyl cut, and 30 guests were all in another room and nobody else watched. I got my aunt and mother to admit that if they were not Jewish, they would not have done this to me. My mother said she had no problem getting me home intact and the hospital didn’t ask about circumcision.

People don’t listen largely because it’s a men’s issue. Men are being in denial first of all, because of the emotional nature. Secondly, men are trained and instinctively programmed to put everyone else first. Thirdly society wouldn’t even care if men banded together as a group- we would come last. So our solution is to band tightly together and do this for ourselves bypassing conventional ways, second, to get any media and high profile celebrity help we can as well as enlist any and all women we can, and pray and work tirelessly if we really care that much. Our job is to be circumcisers of people’s hearts and bring them to grief, and that is not easy.

Sorry to hear about your religious based mutilation. What kind of religion is that? Actually God never commanded that in the OT. The procedure that involves cutting half the skin off, ripping what was attached to the glans, was developed in 140AD by the rabbis, adding tradition to the word of God because they wanted to prevent people being able to restore, in the Greek culture. God commanded Milah not Periah. I’m not Jewish btw but I know this from research

Circumcision is like cutting an Elephant’s Trunk because the Elephant can trip over it and can get infection, It’s completely pointless and the reasons are rubbish!

That’s the truth, and you cannot deny the truth!

The reason you see so much “whining” is because that is the nature of sexual abuse and the impact it can have on people. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that people should stand up and do something about it as you suggest, and so I feel that your motives are overall good as the donations are overly low, but one would not approach a rape support group and tell the victims that they need to stop feeling sorry for themselves. The reason people behave this way is not simply because of a victim mentality (even though that might be true in some cases), but because they really are victims of crime they were powerless to stop that has inescapable physical and emotional repercussions, and being a “man” does not erase or avoid them. It doesn’t really take any patience for me personally to “put up” with people’s scared emotions because I have felt enough pain in my life that I feel nothing but empathy. Rather I would suggest to these people that donating or in some other way doing something about it will make them feel better and more in power. I truly feel sorry though for those who have lived and past with this burden before any hope such as foregen was even available.
