Maybe we can try to contact the family of this boy? The family will receive $3.07 million of the settlement total after attorneys’ fees and costs are deducted.  The current estimate for the clinical trial (375 thousand if I remember correctly?) is just a fraction of their winnings. I bet they'd be happy to donate that to give their son his intact body, and they would still have plenty left over.
