The work of foregen is entirely dependent on donor funds. We are a registered not-for-profit organisation with charitable aims. Unfortunately, we receive no grants or allowances. All of our funds come from donors.
We wish that what we are hoping to accomplish were easy and cheap. Unfortunately, it’s not. Clinical research is labour-intense and expensive. It requires hundreds of hours of medical and scientific effort. But it is absolutely essential if a clinical trial is ever to become a reality. Without donor funds, there will be no research done in this area – and biomedical institutes will concentrate their efforts on other trials which offer greater incentives for them. If that happens,we could all be waiting a lifetime for medicine to take an interest.

Currently we are far off our minimum target for launching Phase One, namely published clinical research into foreskin regeneration.
