I was one of many male infants circumcised soon after being born because my parents were ignorant and decided to listen to some idiot(s) who thought it would be a good thing for me never letting me make the choice on my own. I am furious and sometimes depressed about this and fortunately I learned about things I can do to restore my foreskin through sites like this. It just kills me that people actually think about whether it is a good/smart thing to do. I am strongly against circumcision and it ought to be band worldwide for any reason. I would love to be normal again and hopefully I will get to experience what it’s like to be intact (normal)

Hi,

My parents had me circumcised when I was 2 and 1/2 years old. They did not do that good of a job (too much skin removed) and they butchered my brother's first kid. He had to take his week-old baby to the hospital for "corrective surgery" to repair something that should never have been done in the first place. He said "NO!!" to having his other two boys circumcised.

I also said "NO!! to having my son circumcised. A circumcision is a surgery and with any surgery something can happen. And no matter how mad or sad you get or how much $ you sue for, it is your son that has to live with a butchered penis.

Comment on Professor Doris Taylor:” I think we’re years away and not decades away. It is not unreasonable to imagine within the next four or five years we’ll have some organs we can transplant” by Chantal

I need a heart transplant. It's no fun ride to have a sick heart. Someone has to die to help me. Someone's daughter, son, Mom, father, husband, wife......that is scary because my luck means another family's sadness. If and I mean IF I get a new heart the meds wil lower my immunity which may cause several problems in the future.

My 'own' new heart will be really mine. Go for it Prof. Taylor. You are the hope for many. Thank you for everything you do. God bless you!

I'm with you Luc and kiptan55, being cut was the dumbest mistake of my life. I did it like you guys to be "normal" now I wish i could go back in time and stop my self from doing it. So I'm guessing our only chance for this is either foregen or build a time machine. The time machine doesn't look to promising at the moment.

Here is the contact information for The Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine. If all of us email them that restoring foreskins would be both a worthy project and successful commercially, perhaps...

http://www.ccrm.ca/?q=contact

Their mission statement should be considered (and addressed/appealed to) when you email them; it is:

"CCRM’s mission is to create and sustain a global nexus for Regenerative Medicine (RM) commercialization by unifying dynamic business leadership with high value innovative translational technology platforms based on demonstrated excellence in fundamental stem cell and biomaterial science."

Alan Cumming, the actor (hosts PBS's "Mystery", is on "The Good Wife" and was the Master of Ceremonies in "Cabaret") is also opposed to circumcision and has mentioned it in the past. His site is:

http://www.alancumming.com/

and his blog is:

http://www.alancumming.com/blog.php?id=260

Some quotes from his blog:

"I have to say that I really feel that the circumcision issue is being dicussed more these days, and people are questioning its merits (or lack of). "

"I went on my friend Daniel Nardicio's Shit Show and talked about Intact America and my belief that circumcision is genital mutilation."

"I am delighted to say my friend David Mixner has blogged about circumcision and my involvement with Intact America on his site DavidMixner.com, and it has been causing quite a furor in the comments section. Discussion is the beginning of change, after all."

and of course:

"Thanks to Meade for alerting me to forgeon.org, another organisation that is conerned with circumcision and more particulary foreskin regeneration. Check it out!"

Well, the link goes right to foregen even if the name is misspelled, and that's what counts!
